I'm Kevin Bowen, the site director of ClassicGaming.com.

James Pragit (the guy who ran EmuNews) left this site because the company that hosts ClassicGaming also owns the EmuNews domain. The domain EmuNews.com was owned by CriticalMass long before James came onboard, and before that the domain EmuNews.com was owned by The Techs Network.

In his final news posting James neglected to mention that he was an employee of CriticalMass and was paid for his services. It has been a policy of CriticalMass owns all the domains of sites it hosts, including the EmuNews domain. They own ClassicGaming.com as well. I don't have a problem with that; They continue to support this site with publicity and resources even though it isn't profitable -- CG uses an incredible amount of Bandwidth (*cough* NEO-GEO roms *cough*) and the only reason it exists is because I love classic games.

I've worked on ClassicGaming for over a year now. It may not be the best emulation \ classic gaming site out there, but I try. If it doesn't float your boat, there's other sites out there like Dave's and Zophar's.

I'm sorry that James couldn't come to an agreement with his employers, but sometimes disagreements are inevitable.

Meanwhile, ClassicGaming will still be around. Until the IDSA drags me away :)
